We divide each home build into three key phases: Preconstruction, Construction, and Post-Construction. At Oaktree Builders, we focus on clarity and consistency at every stage. Our process is straightforward and designed to give homeowners confidence from first conversation to move-in day.
Pre-Construction
- Planning and design consultations
- Finalizing floor plans, materials, and finishes
- Permits and approvals with local municipalities
- Budget review and scheduling
- Key milestone: finalizing home plans and completing your new home construction contract
Construction
- Site preparation, foundation, framing, and exterior work, the core phases of residential construction
- Electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and interior finishes
- Routine inspections to ensure compliance with local codes
- Quality checks and testing at each stage
- Key milestones: Foundation completion, Framing completion, Rough-Ins completion, Drywall completion, Flooring & Cabinets completion, Substantial completion (receiving a Certificate of Occupancy)
Post-Construction
- Final inspections and quality walkthroughs
- Punch list completion and homeowner orientation
- Project closing: delivery of keys and home documentation
- Warranty support: Oaktree Builders provides a one-year limited warranty on all homes. We stand behind our work and are available to address issues that arise during this period. Our one-year limited warranty reflects our confidence in the quality of our work.
