The Oaktree Builders Foundation
LARRY ROES, FOUNDER & VISIONARY
Larry Roes founded Oaktree Builders in 2003, building a construction company centered on meaningful work for the people in this industry. Many of our trade partners have been with us since those early days, something we’re deeply proud of.
Larry valued his relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, banking partners, real estate professionals, local officials, and customers, and many became lasting friendships. He held everyone to a high standard, always working to treat people with respect and dignity.
He spent much of his time in prayer for Oaktree Builders and the lives it touched. His family often found him in his easy chair early in the morning or late at night, Bible in hand, seeking God’s guidance and asking to be a good steward of what he’d been given.
Larry was killed in an accident in June 2024. We still feel his loss deeply, but we’re grateful for our time with him as a father, mentor, and business partner. We carry his lessons forward, hoping to honor his wisdom in every home we build, and that he’d be proud of the work Oaktree Builders continues to do.
